Beach days are here again!

Gotta get the blog out...it's been a while!

I have been very busy - do you know of this place called the beach? It is my favorite place EVER!

and SURPRIZE! Zeus loves it too! He is totally my buddy. A little begrudgingly, I am prolly not his first choice, but hey, that dog is smart enough to know where the love comes from and I have got a lot of it for him!

And I also have...

his ball!
I throw it.

And he gets it EVERY TIME! (yes, that is sand behind my ear!)

Waiting for buddy...

Then Dad and I do some flying squirrel moves.

Woohoo! I fly up high!

Dad's the best. It's no wonder Mom looks at him the way she does. He is totally my hero.

He always lets me have all the fun!

And he has a gorgeous smile.

We have a good time.

After all the playing, Mom gave me a cookie. Chocolate chips melt in my mouth.

And all around my mouth, too.

Here's a little blast from the past - A year ago yesterday. I was tiny!

The difference a year makes...

So this is today, exactly a year ago...

Last night, Zoie was headed to the back of the house to purposely retreat from Madee. Of course, as soon as I notice, Madee notices, and we both head for the back hall, me to safely secure Zoie in a back room, and Madee, because she knows exactly what I'm planning on doing.

As I pick up speed, Madee pushes me out of the way and hauls it, hopping up the step and squirling around the corner before I can even right myself.

And that is the difference a year makes.

Belly Dancing, Dancing Belly, and other stuff...

Charlie bought me these over a week ago, and they are still so gorgeous. I love tulips. They whisper "spring" all over the house...

I have been mulling over what to do about our 2nd bedroom. Of course pretty soon we will have 2 girls, but Madee didn't even use her room until she was at least 5 months old.

So we put together a an office/playroom.

We really enjoy spending time in there...we can listen to music and play puzzles and lounge...the lounge part is super great because I am pretty sleepy all the time. I get my deepest, most delicious sleep every day during Madee's 12:30 nap. It is a great time of the day.

We have a really fun closet in our playroom, too. All of our crafts and costumes are in there, so we can even play play-do and color things and play dress up!

Madee's favorite costume is belly dancer...naturally.

I was taking a bellydancing class when I first became pregnant with her, so it probably just comes easily to her since she has technically had a few classes herself!

Check out her moves. She can drop it like it's HOT!

She is learning so fast it just blows my mind. If I ask her where her shoes are, she'll go get them for me. She knows what her pajamas are and she will go get those too. She knows a horse says nee-hee-hee-hee and a chicken says bok bok!

Here's little Eden. She is at least 2 pounds now. 2 pounds of fury. Sometimes I think she hears all the craziness that goes on in our house because she starts kicking like crazy when the laughing and chasing and screaming starts up. I am pretty sure she is hoping for a nice old fashioned hospital switch.

Since she has really rounded out, I am having fun having my own little maternity model right in the house. They aren't what I usually do for other mommies, but they really can't be, can they?

I am trying to open my mind in the self portrait arena.

Good belly is just too sweet to waste. This may very well be our last child, so I love having all the pictures. Our camera broke during our last pregnancy and except for a special session Charlie did of me, we just don't have many pictures of Madee before she was born.

Of course Charlie got me a new camera a couple days before she got here, and things have changed since then.

That means getting out the old tripod, too.

Of course somebody else always ends up stealing the show.

Sweet little punkin. She is a spitfire for sure.

Happy Family in bed.

Madee got this scratch/shiner the other day, and never even complained about it, so we are not even sure where it came from.

She's such a little ruffian. She is constantly rolling/falling/knocking herself around. And myself. And her Dad's self. She's a tough little cookie.

But she's the sweetest cookie I have ever tasted!

I can't believe it is March already...

She is just so cute with animals. She is pretty gentle, and if you have a dog or a cat on the premises, there is nothing else that she needs to bother with. She chased an old cat around the printer's office the other day. For a while. And he didn't even mind.

And now she is learning to throw the ball for Zeus. Actually she just kind of drops it for him. Usually he just looks at the ball and back at her like she should try again.

Adorable.

Eden is closing in on us quickly at 27 weeks - it seems like everything is just going so fast now. And since I am so excited about Spring and Summer, days are whipping by.

Next week starts the 3rd trimester, which turns "waiting for baby" to "wait! wait! baby!"

And I am pretty sure that part doesn't stop because from there they just grow and grow and before you know it, you have little girls, not babies at all...

Messy messy little girls.

Madee has been using a fork and spoon lately, and has also been eating off of plates and out of bowls for longer and longer amounts of time before they get dumped to the table/floor/dog's mouth.

She seems to be getting the hang of it. She is very studious and a quick learner.

We allow for a lot of rumpus time around here. Here is her after dinner dismount from the other evening.

She loves to climb up and down. AND SHE DOESN'T WANT YOUR HELP, THANK YOU!

One more big step...

And it is off to bathtime! She knows just what to do~

Madee is her beach muumuu...

Self portraits with Mom.

Kisses for Baby.

Her bangs rock.

Had to add this one because she looks so much like my sister, Emily. In fact if there is anyone in both families she resembles most, I would say it is Emily, her godmother...

She is a beautiful, wild, terrifying thing...and now for some sledding action!

Hello everybody!

How have you been? I have been a little under the weather lately, but I have still been having fun!

I eat lots of snacks.

And lately I have been talking up a storm. I say "hot" and " hat" alot. Those are my favorite words right now.

I love this caterpillar...

So the other day I found out when Mom takes a picture, it shows up on the other side of the camera. I always want to look right away.

I have so many teeth now...watch out food!

The other morning when I woke up the back porch looked like this.

And the next morning when I woke up it looked like this! You have NO IDEA how much I love snow. I cry when Mom makes me come inside, It doesn't matter how cold I am.

Snow makes Ono very fast!

See? See how happy I am? I just love outside!

And now that I am walking so good, outside is SO much better! I can do stuff!

Here is a little video of me playing in the snow...

And for those of you who wish you could wake up to this...

And me doing my chores around the house.

So that's what I have for ya, I am so really busy all day long and I just wanted to show you some of the stuff I can do!

Oh yeah I can also throw myself to the floor and cry, cry, cry when I want something I just can't have. Mom doesn't have video of that just yet...

Oh Snap!

I keep thinking I am having contractions, and then I settle down a little and get up from my pee puddle and realize that it is actually just this video.

Then I watch it again...

First Video!

So we have finally succeeded in uploading a video, I have tried several times, but as Jess recommended, you just got to keep it short and and be patient!

This season has been pretty weak compared to all the snow we got last year, but Charlie has been able to ride Heavenly a bit, and has made a few local hikes to huck his meat down some backcountry hills.

Here he is swooshing down the Waterhouse this weekend...

Zeus really loves to go with him and fling himself down a nice hill, too.

I love my boys...
