Morning antics in Wisco...
Madee likes to read the paper with her Grandpa Tom.
She sure gets lots of kisses.
Here are two of my favorite goofballs sleeping on the couch...
I finally downloaded pictures from the silver camera for the first time in quite a while.
It was just weeks before Mad got here.
I thought she was heavy then...
It is hard for me to imagine what life was like without her.
But I think the dogs remember...
Congratulations to Andre, Becky and Gavin!
We can't wait to meet little Ruby...

There's lots of muffins in Wisconsin!
And Grandpa Tom likes this one a lot...
They make a pretty good team, yelling at each other, knee bouncing, you know, all that goofy Grandpa-granddaughter stuff...
Here's her best Fay Wray "Oh No ! It's King Kong!" look...
Although she is probably thinking, "No! Not that bow again!"
We had Henjum time! Friday night we went to Neal and Tara's to play with Olivia and Emma and eat some chicken.
The chicken was delicious!
And so is this muffin...meet Emma.
She's 2.
And here is Emma's older sister Olivia rough housing with Charlie and Madee...
Olivia is 5.
She is also a delicious little muffin...
Speaking of delicious, we brought chocolate pie.
Emma had 2 pieces.
Then she licked her plate...
Then Saturday we had the girls' big Welcome to Wisconsin party...
Here they are talking about all the relatives they met...
And the coveted shot of two sons, now fathers, with their daughters...
Now that is a four pack of muffins if I ever saw one...yummy!

Cousins!
Mad and I got here Saturday night and we got to meet her new Cousin Rachel and her Auntie Jess and Uncle Joe.
The girls are too cool in their coordinating strollers with their hot moms.
We went shopping and had lots of wacky adventures.
But she was happiest when her daddy got here Tuesday morning...
It is hard to be a baby and be away from everything familiar.
Every time we change locations it takes a little bit to get her re-settled. Although, she seems to be enjoying herself once she gets her bearings...
Sometimes I just want to eat her. She smells and tastes so good!
Here is her impression of a marshmallow!
Yummy!
Her she is having a heart to heart with daddy about mommy's camera addiction.
I think I heard the word "intervention"...
Then I am pretty sure the conversation turned to the Brewers again...
They can't wait until their first baseball game together!
So after a couple days in Plymouth we came to Green Bay to see the dogs!
Here is an adorable shot of 3 generations of VD!
And the triple VD totem pole!
(Yes, she is wearing a Johnny Cash shirt!)
On Friday the girls have their big "coming out in Wisco" party! Mommy and Auntie Jess are super excited to present the girls to their extended family...
We can't wait to see what Madelyn wears...
So Auntie Jess got a chance to give me something I have been dying for...

3 Months Old!
Congratulations Daddy!
We have successfully kept her alive for 3 months now~
She has grown a lot since we brought her home, changed so much each week
and she recognizes the click of the camera...
I am amazed at how quickly she is picking things up...
As far as development goes she is right on target...
It really must be rough to be this cute...
Her little face is so expressive. I just love this crooked little smile...
She doesn't know it yet, but she is totally trying to grow a mohawk...

gotten so cheeky and funny and cute...
she smiles all day and tries to talk to us all the time...

like exploring how many ways she can get us to pick her up...
As far as development goes she is right on target...
just a cute bubbly baby with a new understanding of her own voice
and the ability to bring strangers to their knees
with a wink a smile and a coo...
It really must be rough to be this cute...
something new she likes to do...

First Haircut
Hi Ya!
Mad here...
This lady is CRAZY about my feet!
You are not going to believe what she tried to do this time!
She totally cut my hair!
She's all, "just let me even it up a little on the sides."
No.
Then with the "but it will look so cute if you just let me..."
I don't think so lady.
She says I am not "rocking my bald spot" like I could, and even though she got a couple snips in before I laid my smack down, she says she isn't finished yet.
She is just waiting for me to be "in the mood" or "in the salon" whatever that means...
I don't plan on that happening any time soon...
