Grandmommy came to LA for a conference and we went and snagged her for a day.
We Went out to Laguna Beach for a walk and a playground visit, then picked up Dad and went to Huntington Beach for lunch and the sunset.
I can't tell you how great it was to see her and to see her with the girls. They totally were into her, which was awesome, because lately, they have been quite clingy.
Madee is such a little explorer right now. It was great to follow her around with my camera - dawdle as she dawdled - and see what she was up to.
Sometimes she just sits down in the middle of the sidewalk.
Guess who found a traffic cone?
And a puppy friend!
Goofy little stair stepper.
This pier is the one that my photography Idol, Tara Whitney uses all the time. The light is amazing on this beach.
We had such a great time visiting a new place and seeing Mom. It was such a perfect day.
Charlie has been heading off with the camera more lately.
He snapped these of Madee playing int he buttery light of the Huntington Beach sunset.
She is saying something in this one. She has all these new little confused looking facial expressions that are just killing me, and she is talking up a storm. She understands so much that it is actually great to talk to her and get a response that she really means.
Ida thinks Grandmommy rocks.
Grandmommy gets nervous when Madee flies.
You know it is great light when everybody has red hair.
We love you Grandmommy! We are so glad we got to see you!
