Meet Me in St. Louis

We heart road trips! I just love my new carseat because I can see what is going on now....

And it isn't so bad to kick back and sleep in either!

Ono came on our trip because she is my bestest buddy. We totally have the same schedule for eating/sleeping/playing.

When you first leave Tahoe, there is lots of boring stuff, so I slept through all that.

You can tell we are going east...

Because the sunset is in our rearview mirrors!

First sign of civilization for a while...

The new car has a DVD in it! I don't watch it much, but it provides good light in the dark part of driving.

Mommy found this tree in St. Louis - can you see the heart?

Mommy finds love everywhere...especially at this blog. This lady has been wishing for a baby for a long time, and he got here yesterday.

We are very excited for them!

We found this too! (No it isn't a McDonalds!)

Mommy says you can go up in an elevator almost to the top!

Daddy is an awesome night driver. I like this light in the sky. I love lights!

St. Louis was fun, except the battery died in the car and Mom and I had to hustle in the parking lot of a JC Penney for a new battery...

Of course she didn't have her camera that day. I keep telling her to TAKE IT EVERYWHERE!

Here we are in our hotel. They had breakfast every morning and that was totally my favorite part!

My goofy Family...

Kisses in action!

We will get some more new pics soon!

Fun at the Denver Zoo

We are finally in Green Bay, but we had lots of adventures on our way here! We decided to skip the Rocky Mountain National Park and take Madee for her first trip to the Denver Zoo!

Here we are looking at the animals!

Ooh! Ask Madee where Rhinos come from and she will tell you "Denver."

Okay, well it sounds like a lot of the words she says but we know what she's talking about.

Madee blew kisses at this guy.

She couldn't get a great view from the stroller every time, so sometimes she got a boost.

These were some funny guys.

I think this is the pachyderms. Most of those other kids were pretty impressed with my elephant call...

Zebra bait.

Madee love giraffes. Her favorite puzzle piece at school is one!

Elephant bait.

This was by far the cutest thing at the zoo...

Seriously.

Camellamaville.

Camel bait.

We tried to explain to Madee that this is what Ono eats.

She says she'd like to see that.

Ono says thank goodness for humans.

We had a great time, it was really the best stroll ever.

More pics of our roadtrip coming soon!

10 Months Old!

Can you believe it?

She is such a big girl! So inquisitive and determined and silly. We have such a good time together.

It's been pretty cold since Daylight Savings Time ended. In fact, Madee seems to be sleeping more since it is dark more often.

She has some great little hats and vests, and just got some little boots just like Mommy's.

She isn't exactly sure what to think about it all yet, though.

It is the beginning of a beautiful season here, a beautiful but long and hard season.

MAdee is just excited about getting her snowsuit and riding on her new sled.

So we are headed to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving, and we leave Sunday. I hope I have enough time to remember everything we will need for the trip.

And it would be cool to get a few naps in too.

Look at her cookie trail from lips to seat...

2 more months and she'll be having her first birthday party! I can't believe how time is flying!

Your Daddy and I love you snuggler. You're the best!

Hey!

Did you know Mommy has a baby in her belly?

I hear it's a mean one. Meaner than I was!

Anyway, Mom and Dad went to the baby doctor the other day, and got to see Gote. (Short for zygote!)

Apparently, Gote is in position and his little heart is beating away. The doctor says my life will certainly be changed by June 10th of next year. That makes Mom 8 1/2 weeks.

I don't know what that means, but I really love to play with (not just beside) other kids, so Mom says it will be good.

She says I will have someone else to pick on around here besides her for a change...

Anyway, just about anything will make Mommy go running to the bathroom. Like yesterday she totally bailed in the middle of a stinky diaper change.

HilARious.
Usually she just sits there and gags, but I guess it is getting worse.

Dad says New Baby makes Mom a lot sicker than Old Baby. That's Me - I'm OLD BABY. Anyway Mom has lost 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks, when I was sure she was suppose to be getting fatter.

Sometimes she rolls around on the floor going, " Daddy's birthday baby is trying to kiiillll mmmmeeeeee."

So I can't wait to meet New Baby. Sounds like my kind of guy. Or girl. And I could totally use some help around here. Mom and Dad are always working against me. "Don't touch that." "That's HOT!" "NO, you can't have this." "Stop playing with cords." "Blah blah blah blah."

Just wait til I have back up!

Oh yeah! Here is a quick shot of us trick or treating on Friday night....what fun!

Halloween is RAD!!!

Yes, I realize there are 3 exclamation points...

See, when I woke up yesterday, Mom and Dad had a brand new outfit for me to wear. I thought it was a little bulky, but then Dad explained that it was Halloween.

He says that on Halloween, ghosties and goblins come out of the dark woods and steal little kids' candy.

I didn't even know I had any candy.

Then Dad says if I dress up like a little skunk, no ghosties or goblins will even know I am a kid. And no one wants to steal a skunk's candy.

Dad sure is smart.

Especially when it come to candy!

Mom is lots of fun. She was totally ready to take me to my Halloween party at school.

But not before a big tickle kiss.

Lots of kids were dressed in funny outfits, so I didn't feel so goofy when I got there. Snow White and the Evil Queen even came to school.

And several little fairies...

And this little girl dressed up like a butterfly. I don't think she likes butterflies.

And a teeny little Dorothy.
I really liked her shoes.

School was pretty crazy yesterday - I never saw so many kids in one place.

I did my best to just blend in, just in case anybody was there to skank my candy.

Then Mom and I had to leave a little early and go to the doctor.
I am 30 1/4 inches and 22 pounds. But I have been 22 pounds for quite a while. I work out alot.

Anyway I don't like the doctor very much. I am a very private person and he is always getting a little too personal.

So after my nap, my friend Lila came over and we went to beg candy from strangers. Dad says when it turns dark, little kids pretend to be ghosties and goblins and go steal the big people's candy.

Now that sounds more like it.

When Lila and I came home, we got to play while Mom and Dad went through our candy for a "safety check".

That was pretty much the last time I saw it.

Halloween is okay with me. I woke up this morning and asked Dad "Can we dress up and go beg for candy today?"

He says we have to wait until next year...
