4th of July was quite a weekend!
We had several milestones, lots of adventure, and met and mingled with lots of family and friends!
Madee got her 2nd tooth, so now she is sporting two bottoms, she went swimming in a floaty, met her first Chinese American friend, dipped her toes in her second ocean, and had her first "digger".
She launched herself off of her dad's lap, and although he caught her (Go Dad!) before she hit the ground, she bumped a little furniture on her way down and got a little mark on her chin...
She recovered pretty quickly but it was scary.

Dad went surfing with cousin Brody, and we went walking on the pier...
Madee met Amber, who totally tried to skank her stroller toys...
Here are our little American girls, so different, and so adorable...
Amber was a sweetie pie but she wasn't sure I was as funny as I thought I was...
Then we strolled along the strand and kicked it ocean side with a bottle...
When we got back to Great Auntie Teri's, Dad told us all about the surfing he did.
Madee wanted to put on her 4th of July bikini and give it a try so we started our own surf camp...
She a natch, dudes...
Then we went for a little boat ride in the jacuzzi...
She was a little unsure at first...
And then she started splashing and kicking her little feet, dragging her hands and head in the water over the side of the boat...
She is a water baby for sure...
Now she totally wants a water bed...
